Shooter In Las Vegas Concert Massacre Was A Multi-Millionaire Real Estate Investor, According To His Brother
According to The Associated Press, the brother of alleged Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock said Monday he was a multimillionaire who worked in real estate. Eric Paddock said his brother also worked as an accountant and that he was unaware of him having any money problems.
“He’s just a guy who played video poker and took cruises and ate burritos at Taco Bell.”
He told reporters his brother was “not an avid gun guy at all” and had no military background. The gunman must have just “snapped”, he added.
At least 58 people were killed and 500 others were injured after gunfire broke out at a country music festival near the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas Sunday night.
Police say Stephen Paddock fired on the crowd at the concert from the 32nd floor of the hotel. He was found dead in his room when police breached the door.
The FBI said on Monday that its investigation had turned up no “connection with an international terrorist group.”
It was also reported Monday that the suspect’s father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list in 1969 after a bank robbery.
Donald Trump condemned the mass shooting Monday, calling it “an act of pure evil.”
