Twitter’s ‘God’ Just Issued A Brutal Demand To Republicans Over Vegas Shooting
In the wake of last night’s tragic mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Republicans have been touting their standard talking points urging against the “politicization” of what is being called the deadliest mass shooting in American history. Twitter’s “God” struck back with a brutal response.
Stop sending 'thoughts and prayers' for the victims of shootings and instead pass gun control legislation, you amoral bastards.

While Democrats have been calling for reasonable and immediate solutions to what has become a devastatingly all-too-often occurrence in this country, Republicans have decided that now is not the time to speak about it. Of course, with the NRA lining their coffers, it should come as no surprise that conservatives are not falling over themselves to speak about common sense gun reform.
It should be noted that the majority of Americans overwhelmingly favor stricter laws regarding guns. It’s a shameful testament to the state of the Republican Party today that a comedian on Twitter can more effectively speak to our most pressing issues than an elected official.
That being said, until Republicans can find enough of a collective spine to answer to their constituents over the gun lobby, their positions will not change.
Americans are fed up. As more special elections swing districts from red to blue, this type of blatant, shameless pandering will rightfully be a tipping point for a decidedly soulless Republican party. 2018 can’t come fast enough.
