House Science Committee Tweeted A BRIETBART Article. Sander’s Response Is EPIC
Bernie Sanders just mocked the official Twitter account of the House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology for tweeting a link to a Breitbart article that denies climate change.

The Breitbart writer James Delingpole cited El Niño and La Niña weather patterns as being the cause of the increasingly hotter years that the planet has been experiencing. El Niño is a weather event that occurs when ocean temperatures are warmer than usual, which results in hotter global temperatures. After the event, what’s called a La Niña event occurs, in which the Earth cools down.
Delingpole cites this La Niña event – which has cooled the Earth’s temperature by one degree in recent months – as evidence that climate change scientists were fooled by the recent El Niño.
In 2015, climate scientists maintained that it still would’ve been a record warm year regardless, and that El Niño only contributed to 8-10% of the warming.
Sanders jabbed back in a tweet that has since gone viral, exposing both the writer’s lack of scientific credentials as well as getting in a stab at President-elect Donald Trump for good measure.

Despite the drop purported by the Breitbart article, 2016 is set to go down as the hottest year on record. Studies have shown that 97% of publishing climate scientists agree that global warming is caused by human activity.
